Josephine Moore, PhD, OTR, FAOTA (1925-2016), an occupational therapy scientist and neuroanatomist, translated neurological concepts and information into occupational therapy. Her presentations benefitted the practice of occupational therapists working in neurological rehabilitation, neonatology, learning disabilities, low vision rehabilitation, sensory integration disorders, and memory disorders by enabling them to appreciate the pathology of and understand the mechanisms of interventions for persons with various neurological impairments. Moore received the Eleanor Clarke Slagle Lectureship in 1975.
