Jim Hinojosa, PhD, OTR, FAOTA, has served the profession through his leadership in multiple AOTA and AOTF committees and commissions. He has received many major awards in occupational therapy, including the Eleanor Clark Slagle Lectureship in 2007. He has co-authored 4 major texts—Frames of Reference for Pediatric Occupational Therapy (3 editions), Evaluation (4 editions), Texture of Life (3 editions), and Perspectives on Human Occupation (2 editions)—has published more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, and has presented his research widely.
