Founding meeting for the National Society for the Promotion of Occupational Therapy

Four women are sent to France as neuropsychiatry “civilian aides” to help World War I soldiers recuperate from “shell shock” and “war neurosis,” and 5 women are sent as reconstruction aides (RAs) to work with soldiers with physical injuries.
